It is perfectly appropriate to begin with my love affair of all things coconut. Last Sunday, I ate breakfast at Midtown and spotted this delightful coconut macaroon (it was teasing me from the display case). To say the least, it was worth every penny. Sunday, March 23rd {also my love's birthday} we're leaving for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! This recipe for coconut flan, pictured above, is an ideal treat that will satisfy the tropical aficionada in us all.
